In this second excerpt from the FluPortal webinar, Josh Andrews introduces tools and content you can use to build a swine-flu page for your station website. In other words: widgets, feeds, videos, photographs, etc. freely available to you. He shows you where to find them on FluPortal, how to grab ready-to-go items, and how to customize several more advanced tools for your particular audience.
Josh also highlights several existing pubmedia H1N1 pages as useful examples.
Finally, he points out where we’re collecting your swine-flu coverage (including your H1N1 landing pages) and how we’re using FluPortal’s delicious.com account to bookmark and tag it.
If your station’s H1N1 page isn’t already listed on FluPortal, or if we’ve missed some of your swine-flu coverage on our Public Media Coverage page, please let us know! You can contact us directly, though our Google Group, or by commenting on this post.
